Stunning Brick Step Transformation for Kitchen Entryway
This project focused on designing and building a new set of brick steps leading from the kitchen to the backyard. The clients were looking for a functional yet visually appealing solution to replace their existing steps. They wanted the final product to complement the home’s aesthetic while providing a durable and safe pathway to their outdoor space.
The Challenge
The primary challenge for this project was to create a set of brick steps that seamlessly connected the kitchen entry to the backyard patio while enhancing the overall aesthetic of the space. The steps had to integrate well with the surrounding brick pavers and landscaping, requiring careful alignment and craftsmanship.

My Approach
To ensure the project’s success, I worked closely with the clients to design a step structure that blended beautifully with the backyard's existing elements. The design phase involved two collaborative visits, where we discussed the layout, brick selection, and overall look to meet their vision. Faith handled the scheduling and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth workflow and timely completion.
Construction began with the precise demolition of the old steps, followed by the careful layering of bricks to achieve a uniform, sturdy structure. Special attention was given to the alignment of the bricks to match the backyard pavers and maintain a cohesive aesthetic.
